A man was robbed at knifepoint inside a Woodside 7 train station early Tuesday morning.
Police in Long Island City’s 108th Precinct and Transit District 20 are looking for two men who approached the 24-year-old man who was waiting on the platform bound for Flushing just before 3 a.m. on May 31, at the interior of the 52nd Street station above. Avenue Roosevelt.
One of the attackers pulled out a knife and forcibly removed the victim’s backpack, police said. The victim refused to receive medical treatment at the scene and it was not known what was in the backpack.
The NYPD released surveillance footage of the attackers on Wednesday. One wore a gray and white striped polo shirt, black track pants and white sneakers. He had a muscular build and dark hair with a slight beard on his chin. The second suspect was wearing a dark hooded jacket with white lettering along the sleeves and dark sweatpants. He was holding a light colored tote bag.
