LEGO CITY 60335 The train station rolls into view
An all-new train station will be released as part of the LEGO CITY range, to accompany its new LEGO CITY train sets.
Station 60335 is a long-awaited new railway infrastructure. The LEGO Group has a long history of making trains (as its 90th anniversary clearly showed), but it’s been less keen on creating substantial stations to go along with them. This one – images of which recently appeared in the LEGO Instructions app – is a particularly nice example, with a number of notable features.

Along with essentials like a platform and ticket machine, the station includes a cafe bar where minifigures can relax. There also appears to be branding of the upcoming 60347 supermarket, which suggests the LEGO Group is encouraging multiple purchases.
The included vehicles are also of particular interest. In addition to a new bus, we have a service truck (with a lifting platform) and a trailer. The service truck can travel on road or rail, resurrecting a feature of the 10128 train crossing in the process.
The 70424 Ghost Train Express rail exit ramps allow easy access for this vehicle. However, if you combine it with a set like 60337 Express Passenger Train or 60336 Freight Train – which will be released soon – these will quickly prove redundant. The road plates included in this set also allow it to be easily connected to other recent versions of CITY.
If you were looking for a LEGO train station to add to your city, this is one of the best examples in recent years. We don’t have an RRP or release date for this set at this time. However, it seems likely to launch at the end of May along with the other new LEGO CITY products.
